field of music. A fun loving high-energy Performer he has set himself apart From the rest. His smooth yet powerful vocal style and thumping bass style, established a sound that is uniquely his own.
He is the founder of the Marshall Entertainment Group, which
includes Mars Records and Mary L Publishing Co. As a Entertainer, he is one of North Florida’s most consistent and creative performers.
His early influences included, his Father who plays Tenor Sax, and
his Mother who was a gospel singer and two brothers and a sister
who are all musicians. Joining his first group when he was fourteen years old, he continued in in his local church and other churches in his area until he finished high school, after which he left to serve in the military. Upon completion of his military service, Gerald formed the Philharmonic sound co. He took this band and toured the Southeastern United States, worked with Ace records and recorded at Malico studios.
His performing skills came into play when he landed work with,
The Platters and The Coasters in the mid-70s; he also worked with
George Clinton. Gerald moved to Florida in 1999 and formed the Sticks & Stones band.
He performs in venues on the Northwest Florida coast. Gerald’s live performances consist of a variety of musical styles that showcase his versatility and creativity. His most recent single is Only in America, which is featured in the documentary, The Real 8th Mile, which, has aired on cableTelevision.
